Harley Davidson Pinball Restoration Completed!

WAYLAND, MA: Sega Harley Davidson Pinball Machine fully restored to like new condition! A client west of Boston wanted this Sega / Stern pinball classic to display in his gameroom. Over 40 hours of restoration work later, we present this sweet Harley Davidson pinball machine by Sega!

Further details of this title: Sega 1999 Harley Davidson Last game Sega produced and was the crossover / handoff game to Stern when Stern bought out the pinball division Sega in that same year. Making this Harley Davidson produced with both Sega and Stern logos in 1999. Object of this game is to visit as many cities as possible. 3 different multiballs: Harley, Speedometer and Red Light multiball. Unique features of this game: Shaker motor that coincides with the motorcycle engine revving during the game, Times ramp shot, the faster you hit the ramp the more miles you achieve, the more miles you achieve the more cities you are awarded. Has a ball holding magnet at the top arch of the game, TWO 4bank drop targets , 4 Standup targets , 1 Spinning, 1 Ramp , 1 Cellar hole 1 Shaker motor and an up post between the flippers that is a throw back to older games like Bally’s Bobby Orr Power Play from the late 70’s which could be why they chose to add this feature as the songs and Bikes in the game are classic 1970’s based.

The work we perfomed to get it to this like new condition: Fully stripped the top side of the game and deep cleanmed the playfield and ramp. Rebuilt both flipper assemblies, installed Premium clear silicone rubber rings, orange silicone flipper rubber to go with the Harley Davidson Orange logo, and yellow and white silicone posts everywhere else. Cleaned under the feature light lenses and installed Warm white LED for the General illumination circuit as well as Some tasteful colored LEDs sprinkled throughout the feature light areas in the game for an eye pleasing mixt of LED and standard bulbs. Replaced burned out flasher and regular bulbs where needed. Main board gone through and NVRAM installed instead of troublesome leaky batteries for worry free operation, Replaced the trough opto receiver board. Fully rebuilt both banks of drop target banks including new drop targets & drop target stickers. New drop target lift bar as well as new lift bar pivot armature and mounting plates as all of these become rounded out over time and cause malfunctioning. These are both now rebuilt to new condition and will be good for at least another 20 years of game play.
