Bally Harlem Globetrotters

Westwood, MA: A client that grew up with this title wanted a fully-restored Globetrotter game as the main attraction in her family’s gameroom. To that end, we put over 60 hrs of restoration into making this 1979 Bally Classic look and play like showroom new! We started by rebuilding all mechanicals and circuit boards, cleaning all the insert lenses, installing new incandescent lighting (as these older Classic games look much better with vintage lighting than the modern colder LED style of lighting). Buffed all metal to a mirror shine. New premium silicone rubber all around, new drop targets and rebuilt pop bumpers with new style clear skirts to show off the basketball court floor of the game. Rebuilt the spinners and the spinner faces as well as tweaked all switches to a hair trigger as well as spinners for maximum revolutions per hit. We finished by touching up the cabinet and playfield and installing a playfield protector to protect the touch-ups and to even out any cupped inserts. We really enjoyed playtesting this one for its new owner!
